Kristine Ward Kristine is a graduate of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she specialized in treatment of gynecological, digestive, and respiratory disorders. She also has experience in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal dysfunctions and injuries. At a summer internship at the Chicago Women's Health Center, she gained further experience in treating a wide variety of women's health issues. She is licensed by the State of Illinois in Acupuncture (L.Ac.), and is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture, and Chinese Herbology. Kristine received her BS in Biology at Central Michigan University, followed with a 10 year career in laboratory research. She then decided to take that understanding in Western medicine and pair it with further education in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Kristine believes it is important to work with Western medicine, and prescribed medications to offer the best care possible to the patient. Teri Calandra Teri is a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist. After graduating from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine she chose to specialize in NAET (allergy elimination), infertility and hard to treat women's health issues, and musculoskeletal dysfunctions. In 2005, she graduated from American Institute of Alternative Medicine where she received her degree in massage therapy specializing in Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage), Teri is a member of teh Join Civic Comkmittee Italian Americans. Teri has her BA from University of Iowa in dance, and danced for over 20 years before finally setting aside her pointe shoes to further her education. Having suffered from multiple of musculoskeletal injuries, allergies, and other ailments her whole life it seemed only natural to go into acupuncture as her chosen profession. She believes that it is important to work withall medical modalities in order to offer the greatest care to the patient. Where one medicine leaves off the other picks up. Teri is licensed by the state of Illinois in acupuncture (L.Ac.) and is board certified through the NCCAOM for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as a Diplomate in Acpuncuncture.
